TRENDS 2019/2020

Being involved in interior design is going to be even more exciting throughout 2019.   Everywhere you look these days you’ll be able to find inspiration that you can then use to come up with a beautiful new design for any bathroom in your home.   Along with visiting your local bathroom showrooms in Derby, you can use social media platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest to help you find ideas that will allow you to embrace your inner interior designer.

Here at The Bathroom & Tile Boutique, we can provide you with some very innovative ways that will allow you to turn your tired bathrooms in Derby into something a little more special.

Here are just a few of the bathroom trends that will be proving popular throughout 2019.

1.  Matte Black Accents

Using matt black brassware in any bathroom can really change the total look, its crazy how something so simple can create such a huge impact. but is matt black here to stay or is the white finish going to take the lead to complement the pastel pallet that has taken over the industry by storm this year with all the huge exhibitions displaying the big brands new designs!!

Visit your local bathroom showroom in Derby to get some ideas of the kinds available.

2.  Coloured Sanitary ware

YESSSSS!!! This is just what ive been waiting for the return of coloured sanitary ware!!

we're talking pastels, blues, greens, blush, black, greys and matt finishes. This is the kinda of thing that gets us designers super excited.

Check out the gallery below :)

3.  Statement Marble

As well as adding a stunning focal point in any bathroom, Marble is completely timeless and will also be in the top ratings for me.

4.  Statement Colour Wall

According to ISH 2019 in Frankfurt, the world’s leading bathroom specialists exhibition, colour is having a comeback. Whilst the last few years have seen subtle colour choices, this year is expected to enjoy some vibrancy with colourful bathroom tiling. Installing colourful tiles rather than conventional white ones can transform the way your bathroom looks and feels. Visit your local bespoke bathroom showroom in Derby to see the wide array of different tiles they have on offer.

5.  Off Kilter Bath

We all have a natural inclination of setting the bath as close to as a wall as possible, but by choosing to set it at an angle can really make a difference.  As you look around any showrooms that offer bespoke fitted bathrooms in Derby you will notice that rarely are the baths here set straight.   Not only does it help to add a more dynamic look to any bathroom, but you may find it also helps to free up a little more floor space.

6.  Wet Rooms and Wellness

ISH declared another 2019 trend which has continued from last year; the introduction of wellness into your bathroom. Bathrooms are no longer merely installed for function, they can be places of total relaxation and self care.  If your ensuite is quite small why not think about creating a wet room in this space.  Again your local fitted bathroom specialists in Derby can offer you some suitable ideas for this area of your home.

I can’t thank thebathroomandtileboutique enough for the transformation of our bathroom.
Kirsty took away my very vague ideas of what I wanted and put her spin on it onto a 3D image which she showed me on her laptop.
When work started it was very methodical. Every Workman was extremely friendly, courteous and tidy.
Kirsty arranged for every aspect of the work to be done and regularly came to oversee it to make sure everything was going to plan.
When all the work was completed all of the fittings supplied were of the highest quality as was the workmanship.
Thank you Kirsty, Ben and team our new bathroom is amazing xx
